Contact Alfredo

Alfredo Huereca’s acting career began in Mexico, performing in classical and contemporary plays.   It is during this time that he performed at the internationally known Festival Cervantino in the lead role of Lope de Vega’s The Knight of Olmedo, and was given the Best Actor Award.  He obtained an MFA from UT, Austin, where he earned a nomination for the Payne Actors Awards for best supporting actor in a comedy.  His New York credits include: Cayendo con Victoriano (World View Productions), for which he received the 2011 HOLA Best Lead Actor Award and the 2012 ACE Best Lead Actor Award, Caprichos (IATI, 1998 ACE Best Lead Actor Award), La Cena (IATI), Blood Wedding, Life is a Dream, Mojiganga, Innocent Erendira and Dominican Serenade (Repertorio Español), One Hour Without Television (Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre), Papa (Lincoln Center), Death of the Mind (HERE Arts Center) and Venus of Lespugue (Tribeca Performing Arts).  Regional credits include: Chicago Boys (Goodman Theatre), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Alliance Theatre), Magical Mystery Mall (Hyde Park Theatre), Birth and After Birth (Capitol City Playhouse), Johnny on a Spot (Different Stages), Macbeth (Black Wolf Productions), The Learned Ladies, Yerma (University of Texas).  International credits include: The Knight of Olmedo, The Miracle Worker, Candide, The Pushcart Peddlers, and Hotel Savoy’s Dandy (Mexico). Alfredo founded World View Productions, Inc. in 2008 with the goal of bringing to life theater and film of high quality and content.  His first Off-Broadway production, Cayendo con Victoriano, received a 2011 HOLA Award, two 2012 ACE Awards, three ACE nominations and six nominations from Artistas de Teatro Independiente (ATI).

Contact Ana

Ana Grosse is a trilingual actor, dancer, translator and producer.  She was born in Argentina and is a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Conservatory in New York. NY theater credits include: Bad Evidence (The Cell Theatre), Charles Mee’s Fêtes de la Nuit (The Ohio Theatre), La Cena (IATI Theater), That was Weird (59E59 Theater), Firehouse (47th Street Theatre), Coupling Heuristic (Manhattan Theatre Source), Enemies, A Love Story (Steps Theatre), Movie Date (Roy Arias Theatre), Poison (Atlantic Stage 2), Phaedra’s Dilemma (Impact Theater), The Exonerated (Foster Street Productions), Once Five Years Pass, The House of Bernarda Alba, Chronicle of a Death Foretold and Way to Heaven (Repertorio Español).

Internationally, Ana has performed at the Adelaide Arts Festival, the Next Wave Festival and the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Australia, and the Mercosur Theater Festival in Argentina.  Short films include: Bubblegum, Fame, and Adventure of Juliet.  Upcoming feature film: One Spring. Before moving to New York, Ana was the co-founder of Bare Bones, a dance theater company based in Australia, with whom she produced and performed a number of shows that toured the country.  She also holds degrees in Modern Dance and Anthropology from the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Jorge Castilla is from Yucatan, Mexico. He graduated from the Universidad de las Américas, Puebla (UDLA) where he earned a BFA in Theatre.  Jorge is an actor, playwright, director, lyricist, composer and costume designer.  He is the author of many awarded dramas and musicals such as Imperio Andino, Dies Irae and Sandalwood Park.  From 2005 to 2008 he worked for the Centro de Capacitación Artística Xpresión in Mérida (México) teaching Acting, History of Theater and Showcase for young students, while putting together famous plays such as Dangerous Liaisons, The Bald Soprano, and Don Mendo’s Revenge, and musicals like Into the Woods, Seussical The Musical and Oliver!  He served as Coordinator of the Musical Theater and Siglo de Oro Español programs and also designed the costumes for more than 15 productions.  Jorge later founded CASROD Productions, a company supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Yucatán,  which produces original works from young Mexican playwrights and teaches workshops.

Currently Jorge works for Teatro SEA, Bordinni Brothers, HADA Productions and World View Productions in New York and he is also an active member of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA).  His recent credits include: Life Could be un Sueño, Waiting for the D (HADA Productions), Cayendo con Victoriano (World View Productions), Look Who’s in the Army Now (Bordinni Brothers), Viva Pinocho! and DC-7: The Roberto Clemente Story (SEA).

Blanca was born in Zacatecas, Mexico.  A graduate of the Tecnológico de Monterrey for the International Business Career (2010), Blanca began her artistic career at an early age with several works in her hometown, among them, The Importance of Being Ernest and Everything in Pairs.  In Monterrey she performed in La Mudanza, El Juego de Zuzanka, The Misunderstanding, Ifigenia Cruel, Scarlet Pimpernel, The Man of La Mancha and The Trojan Women.  She had the good fortune of being directed by Luis Franco, Lety Parra, Alejandro Cantú, José Caballero and José Sole where she shared the stage with Lucia Guilman (The Trojan Women 2007).  Blanca participated in the Regional Theatre Festival of Monterrey 2001 with La Mudanza, where she earned the recognition as Best Actress for her character of Andromache in The Trojan Women. Internationally, she has participated twice in the Festival Internacional de Teatro UCSUR in Lima, Peru (Ifigenia Cruel 2009, El Malentendido 2010). Blanca received Gerardo Maldonado’s recognition as Best Actress for her role as Marta in The Misunderstanding, and was awarded El Borrego de Oro, given to the student whose artistic career served an important role in her professional career.

Contact Ryan

Ryan grew up in New Haven, CT close to Yale University.  There he received several awards as a visual artist, including a first place Congressional Art Award, a Scholastic Gold Key Award, and the annual Jamie Hulley Foundation Art Award.  In 2008 Ryan moved to New York City to pursue a BFA at the School of Visual Arts. He has since shown his illustrations in group gallery shows and held positions as a graphic designer for publishing and design companies such as Spin Magazine, Trinidad Scot, and currently Global Point.

In 2011, Ryan became the founder of his own company, Out Loud Greetings.  Out Loud Greetings produces greeting cards dedicated to the LGBT community.  Thus far he has seen steady success through his online channels and is planning on growing the company to storefronts this coming year.

As an artist, Ryan’s talents lie in combing the visual arts with human impact.  He has served as an arts educator for youth organizations throughout New York City and has geared his personal design career towards work that promotes the arts and improves the community.
